The Texcon Asian Textile Conference
Description
Excerpted from the website:
- The Indian Cotton Mills’ Federation (ICMF) established in 1958 had been the apex body of the organized textile mill industry of India. It represented all the spinning and weaving mills including composite mills producing textile goods in the Country. Different regional associations having membership of more than 2700 textile mills all over the country were members of the Federation.
- The Federation felt the need to convert itself into an umbrella organization representing all the segments of the textile and clothing sector of India including cotton mills, man made spinning and weaving units, woollen mills, units manufacturing garments, and all such other units which are in production of textile and allied goods.
